At a ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 14, longtime Greenhills tennis coach Eric Gajar had the honor of being inducted into the Michigan High School Coaches Association (MHSCA) Hall of Fame. Gajar is one of just 14 coaches across the state to receive the honor in 2025, and the first who spent their career at Greenhills.
It’s about halfway through the girls volleyball season, and Greenhills’ varsity team is hitting its stride with a team full of young players, a program built around development, and a coach who is as focused on mindset as she is on mechanics.
Greenhills School is proud to announce the hiring of Waleed Samaha as the next head coach of the varsity boys basketball program. A widely respected leader in Michigan high school athletics, Samaha brings with him more than two decades of coaching experience, a championship-winning record, and a steadfast commitment to supporting student-athletes both on and off the court.
Following a competitive national search, Greenhills School has announced the appointment of Jeewon Wright-Kim as its first Head of Lower School. Wright-Kim will serve as the Head of Lower School at Summers-Knoll School during the 2025–2026 academic year and lead the campus’s transition to Greenhills’ lower school the following year.
